"More than 30 advocates from USGBC chapters and affiliates across the country traveled to Washington, DC, in September to meet with staff and Members of the U.S. House of Representatives as part of USGBC's first Congressional Advocacy Day. The "fly-in" event provided chapter advocates with an opportunity to educate Members and their staffs about the benefits of green building and about legislative opportunities to advance this important work." California was represented by Lindsey Taggart, CA Central Coast Chapter, John Walser, Northern California Chapter and Tammy Spencer, Inland Empire Chapter.
