Barbara Briccotto, IIDA, LEED® AP

Barbara Briccotto is a Principal with Gresham, Smith and Partners, Corporate + Urban Design division.  In this role, Barbara is responsible for business development efforts, as well as project over sight for corporate interiors projects.

Barbara has 25 years of experience, including previous work with OBrien Atkins in Research Triangle Park and Moser Mayer Phoenix Associates, in Greensboro North Carolina. Major clients have included Glaxo Smith Kline, the UNC University System, Bank of America, and Wachovia.

In addition to her efforts with USGBC, Barbara has been active in CoreNet, CREW, IFMA, and IIDA, holding several committee and board positions.

She is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro, with a B.S. in Interior Design.

Barbara grew up in Delaware and still returns frequently to visit family.  Her interests include cooking, wine, travel, and antique auctions.

Barbara says if she could invite 4 people to dinner, she would include Bill and Melinda Gates (to learn more about the joy of giving back), Lance Armstrong (for wisdom on determination and drive) and Tim Russert (if he were still alive – to learn more about the capacity to live each day with passion and respect).
