Michael Entrekin, LEED® AP, is the Vice President of Marketing and Energy Solutions for Platinum Energy Group’s Mid-Atlantic Division located in Charlotte, NC. A native of Rock Hill, SC he has an advanced degree and background in environmental science (air /water) and public health from the University of South Carolina.
Michael’s career includes 10 years providing hands on field work and environmental consulting services to both the public and private sectors, as well as 8 years in the HVAC industry. This combination developed his strong interest in economically and environmentally sustainable communities.
Michael educates the community and marketplace on green buildings, energy savings, measurement and verification of field devices, building automation controls and total facility solutions.
He has served as the workshop chairman, and currently serves on the USGBC Charlotte Region Chapter Board of Directors. He is also an appointed board supervisor to the Mecklenburg County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Michael resides in Charlotte with his wife, Kim and 2 daughters. |
