Thomas A. Dorsey is employed by Wachovia Corporation as a senior vice president in corporate real estate. He is qualified as a real estate appraiser, broker, and general contractor. Tom holds the MAI and SRA designations of the Appraisal Institute, he is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors, and he is a LEED® Accredited Professional (LEED® AP).
Tom earned the B.A. degree at Case Western Reserve University and the M.B.A. degree at Florida Atlantic University. He is a graduate of Leadership North Carolina. In addition to serving on the Board of the USGBC's Charlotte Chapter, his present community and professional service includes membership on the Planning and Development Committee of Charlotte Center City Partners, the City of Charlotte's Privatization and Optimization Committee, and the Appraisal Institute's Green Buildings Project Team.
