Ms. Saville is a native of Virginia and earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree and a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. She is licensed as an architect and a landscape architect in North Carolina. With dual degrees and dual registrations, she highlights the collaboration of disciplines in her efforts toward the integration of both professions into a total design for each project. She is a LEED accredited professional and founding Board member of the USGBC Charlotte Region Chapter.
Moving to Charlotte immediately after graduate school, she interned with several architectural firms which allowed her to hone skills as project architect and construction manager as well as designing public buildings and schools, their sites and campus master plans. With this came an interest in designing for total accessibility to accommodate ADA requirements and CPTED principles in public spaces.
She joined Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in the fall of 1998 as facilities architect and landscape architect. She is a national trainer for Green Advantage, for construction professionals. She and her husband Keith live in Charlotte.
