Will Weaver, LEED® AP
Chair

A project architect with Gensler, Will Weaver has experience in a diverse array of projects including corporate office buildings and interiors, higher education and cultural arts facilities. A graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, Will is an accomplished designer whose commitment and devotion to environmentally conscious design is evident in every project. Will's work has won design awards and citations from some of the industry's most prestigious associations.

A champion for sustainable design, Will was the driving force behind getting Gensler's entire Charlotte office LEED accredited. His passion for sustainability was honed while working in Portland, Oregon with BOORA Architects. Among other notable sustainable projects, Will worked on the Clackamas High School in Clackamas, Oregon - the first K-12 facility to achieve certification under the USGBC's LEED rating system.

A LEED Accredited professional since April 2004, Will is the current Chair of the US Green Building Council Charlotte Region Chapter, and is also a patron member of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, the America Solar Energy Society, the International Solar Energy Society, and the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association.
