WHAT IS GREENBYTES? |
| Green Bytes is the electronic newsletter of the Chicago Chapter and is published monthly. We’re always looking for exciting ideas, achievements, case studies and stories to share with our 300+ members. |
|
|
CONTENT |
We currently include articles for any of the following categories: |
- Policy
- LEED
- Outside In – site and landscape design
- Health
- Law
- Product Highlights
- Taking It Home – sustainable practices for the home
|
We also feature a question-and-answer section on the LEED rating system. Your questions are answered by two LEED APs: Lois Vitt Sale, AIA and Helen Kessler, FAIA. Submit your question to michelle.murosky@arup.com for consideration.
|
Our Growing Green Members section includes brief updates on things you’re doing – conferences, presentations, awards, or blogs. These don’t have to be related to sustainable design or the Chapter. Send your accomplishments to us and we’ll be sure to spread the word.
|
Submissions should be between 300 – 500 words (one page) and can include pictures or graphics. Green Bytes is e-published on the first Wednesday of month. Submissions are due two weeks prior to the first Wednesday.
Please submit your article or idea in an unformatted Word document with contact information to our Editor, Sarah Wehren Kooiker, swkooiker@wightco.com. |

SPONSORSHIPS |
We are seeking sponsors to help defray the costs of producing Green Bytes. Sponsorship is not expensive and your business will be seen by nearly 350 subscribers to Green Bytes. If you’re interested, please contact Sarah Wehren Kooiker swkooiker@wightco.com. |
