Accredited Professionals

If you would like to find LEED Accredited Professionals in your area, please go to the search page for the list of LEED Accredited Professionals click here.  Simply insert city and state to find those LEED AP's near you.  Another approach is to leave the search fields blank, the page will return all accredited professionals, you can then sort by city or state.

To become a LEED Accredited Professional:

LEED accreditation is now done through a third party arm of the USGBC called The Green Building Certification Institute http://www.gbci.org.  The GBCI is where you can get the “LEED Accredited Professional Candidate Handbook”, sample tests, and it is where you register to take the exam.

One of the best ways to learn quickly is to attend one (or more) LEED Technical Review Workshops conducted by the USGBC.  These are one day events hosted in cities all over the US.  The following link will take you to the USGBC educational site…..

 http://www.usgbc.org/Workshops/Workshoplist.aspx

Use the search button on this page to find the scheduled workshops and their locations.  Unless you intend to take the LEED AP exam in a focused area (such as Existing Buildings [EB] or Commercial Interiors [CI]), we would suggest starting with the workshop for New Construction and Major Renovation [NC].
