The DRC-USGBC and News/Talk 760 WJR are launching a series of 'Greening of the Great Lakes' news vignettes scheduled to begin June 30, 2008 and will continue for the next year; leading up to the Greening the Heartland 2009 event being held in Detroit. The 60 second vignettes will air Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:45 pm, during the Mitch Albom show.
The Greening of the Great Lakes on-air program and web site (www.GreeningoftheGreatLakes.com) is intended to educate, inform and direct people to information on the organizations committed to making the Great Lakes region a leader in environmental practices. The USGBC-DRC anticipates our leadership in the program and the expanding interest in Green Building will encourage membership in our chapter.
