Individuals who want to become involved with green building on a local level can join their USGBC local chapter. Chapters are the local voice of USGBC, and chapter members are key to raising awareness about green building. Chapter membership also provides excellent networking opportunities, the chance to serve on committees, and chapter member-rate discounts on chapter events. There are three different Flatwater membership types described below:
Individuals from USGBC national companies
Concerned citizens or individuals whose companies are not members of the USGBC
Students or young professionals who have graduated within the last 5 years.
Follow the link below to be redirected to the National USGBC website. You'll have to create a username and password to log-on to the site. Then, you'll be redirected to the membership section. If for some reason, you're not redirected, click on the "Chapters" link at the top of the page, and click "Join a Chapter". Select "Flatwater Chapter" and your membership type, then "Continue to Checkout".
