Advocacy Committe
The goals of the Advocacy Committee are to promote awareness and acceptance of sustainable building practices in Kentucky, Coordinate and attend gatherings where the USGBC Message can be promoted and grown, promote creation of financial incentives in the public and private sectors which will accelerate the construction of sustainable LEED Certified buildings and coordinate efforts with Programming Committee to synergize growth of the USGBC Brand in Kentucky.
Meeting: 3rd Monday of Every Month @ 3 PM

Finance Committee
Major functions of the Finance committee are to work with other committees to establish and maintain a business plan for carrying out the chapter’s strategic plan and financial strategy within available resources. The Finance Committee will also work with the Membership / Communications committee to obtain sponsorships from companies and governmental agencies that desire to support green initiatives. Another goal of the Finance committee is to help obtain chapter funding through sponsorship, fundraising, and other opportunities.

Programs & Education Committee
The Program and Education Committee will address policy and planning issues related to the Chapter’s education and program activities, solicit involvement and support from community leaders, corporations, municipal and state governments, members of the green building community and others, work with the chapter finance committee to secure funding for programming efforts, and organize educational programs and events sponsored by the Chapter.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee will address policy and planning issues related to the Chapter’s membership and communications activities, grow and maintain the membership, communicate with allied industry organizations, work closely with the Programming Committee to promote programs and events that serve both an educational and a promotional or membership development purpose and provide communications and marketing materials to target specific audiences to help insure all programming efforts are focused and effective.
Meeting: 1st Thursday of Every Month @ 3 PM
