Friends of the Chapter

The U.S. Green Building Council - Nevada Chapter (USGBC-NV) is a local non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2003. We are committed to improvement of the built environment through increased awareness gained at programs that feature green building principles and practices. Today, we ask you to partner with us to help reframe the direction of development toward a more sustainable future for all of Nevada.

We invite you to join our Friends of the Chapter program as an Annual Corporate Contributor.  Your yearly support helps our chapter reach its potential in education and advocacy for green buildings. Your contribution will help provide high quality educational programs, events and activities for our community. Our goal is to build awareness of the social, environmental, and economical benefits as well as the techniques involved in both design and construction for sustainable building projects in our state.

Friends of the Chapter contributors are acknowledged at events and activities hosted by the chapter as well as in printed materials including newsletters, website and event announcements. We are sure you will agree that your involvement will bring greater success to your company as well as our very worthwhile organization.

Annual Contribution Levels, Benefits, and Corporate Contributors:

The Annual Corporate Contributions provide the foundation of Chapter finances for a majority of the Chapter’s core operational and project costs associated with being a Not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization.

• Platinum Level Contributor name tags for company Chapter members
• Featured article in Chapter e-newsletter two (2) times per contribution year
• Opportunity to introduce featured speaker at two (2) Chapter events
• Four (4) complimentary tickets to our annual Leadership Awards
• Eight (8) complimentary local chapter memberships for company employees
• Company name/logo display at all monthly Chapter meetings
