Thank you for your interest in joining the U.S. Green Building Council and the Nevada Chapter.
There are two types of membership with the U.S. Green Building Council, both national and local. Companies can join the USGBC on a national level. This is a blanket membership for the entire organization, including offices and employees in all states if applicable.
In addition, at the local level, individuals can become members of the Nevada Chapter. Anyone may join the chapter, whether your company is a national USGBC member or not, although we encourage membership at both levels for maximum benefit. The types of chapter memberships are described below.
Instructions for joining:
Determine the type of membership you wish to create, either company or individual. Then click on the appropriate link below. First, you will be asked to sign in. If you have not registered with the USGBC before, click on the link to create a new registration. Once you are signed in, you will get the appropriate web form to complete the process.
If you have any difficulty with the web-based system or prefer to use a hard copy registration form for your chapter membership, click here. You can mail or fax the application as indicated on the form. To expedite the process, faxing is recommended. If you need assistance joining the USGBC, please call the membershp line at 202-742-3819.

Important Note: When your company first joins the USGBC, please use the Nevada Chapter as a referral on your application for membership. While this will not affect your dues, it will direct a portion of them to the Nevada Chapter for use in our local educational programs. This is a great way to support our efforts without any additional cost to your organization.
LOCAL CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES AND ANNUAL DUES
The following is a breakdown of the Nevada Chapter membership categories and benefits:
1. Nevada Chapter Member - $50.00 - Available only to individuals from USGBC-member companies.
2. Nevada Chapter Associate Member - $65.00 - For individuals whose companies are not national USGBC members
3. Nevada Chapter Student Member - $25.00 - Must be enrolled in accredited degree program.
If you want to check out the chapter before joining, you are welcome to attend our monthly meetings. Additional programs or events are often open to the public as well. Check with us if you have any questions.
