Hi All:Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this year’sCCSD Science Fair. It was a lot of fun judging at the event! I was amazed at how well put together theseexhibits were. While there were noentries dealing directly with GreenBuilding, there were manyprojects dealing with our Environment. We will have to work on this for next year.
ALL WERE WINNERS!!
Each child took a problem or subject from one of the fivecategories and asked the question as to how and why this design or inventionwas needed. They explained how theirdesign or invention worked and listed their resources and materials. They describedthe design and how they tested and evaluated the results, then drafted aconclusion statement as to what they learned. It was very difficult to judge these projects because they were all sogood!
Matt Sokol, CCSD Science Fair Coordinator expressed hisappreciation for the four “Green Blankets” we donated as prizes to theevent. He will be glad to help usestablish a Green Building category for inclusion in next year’s event.
