Welcome! On
behalf of the Board of Directors, we would like to thank you for joining
the Long Island Chapter of the
US
Green
Building
Council. Our commitment to
the USGBC-LI membership is expanding and we encourage both members and
invited guests to take advantage of the full roster of our educational,
social and advocacy programs. Periodic
announcements concerning upcoming networking and educational events will
be forthcoming to all members.
How
to Get Involved:
New
Member Orientation Breakfast Join
us at 8:00 am on April 8 to learn about USGBC-LI and the LEED rating
system, meet with committee chairs and learn about how you can become
involved in the committees, and network with other new members!
This event is open to all chapter and associate members who
joined within the last six months. Visit

Business Networking Be sure to mark your calendars and join us at our monthly Sustainable
Cocktails networking events, held on the last Tuesday of
every month (held at Butterfields in Hauppauge for the first quarter of
2008). These events are a
wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded individuals who are in related
industries and working toward the same goal sustainable development
on
Long Island
.
Educational
