Making New from Old: An Educational Tour

On Friday, October 30th, the USGBC Memphis went on an educational tour of the Nucor-Yamato Steel
Mill in Blytheville, Arkansas to get an overview of the entire steel-making process, from the recycling
of mixed steel scrap to shipping. Below are some pictures from the tour.

         

         


MLGW Offers Incentives for Building Green

Through a grant provided by MLGW to foster awareness and encourage local green building initiatives, the
Memphis Chapter of the USGBC has incentive money to reward LEED Certified projects that meet additional
