Studio 804's Design-Build Program and the LEED Platinum 5.4.7 Art Center

Josh was part of the group of graduate level architecture students that designed and built the
5.4.7 Art Center in Greensburg, Kansas. If you are not familiar with Greensburg, Kansas, it is a
small town in Kansas that was completely leveled by an F5 tornado on May 4th, 2007. Afterwards,
the city leaders decided to use it as an opportunity to re-plane the town and build it back with
sustainable principals and the City Council voted to build all future buildings LEED Platinum.

Josh will be talking to us about the University of Kansas's design build program and the LEED
Platinum 5.4.7 Art Center project. This project was featured on the Discovery Green Channel's show
