WHERE: Bruno's Wine Bar (above Bruno's Italian Restaurant)

HOW: Walk, cycle, bus, taxi, or at least carpool
WHO: Anyone working on environmental and sustainability issues, studying them, or has a desire to learn more about them
WHY: Fun, contacts, refreshments, info, inspiration, business and pleasure
NEW: Just go up to someone and say "are you green?", and you'll be made welcome.

Greening the Heartland Regional Conference
May 31 - June 2, 2009, Cobo Center, Detroit
One of the largest and most successful conferences on green building practices and initiatives is coming to Detroit. The USGBC Detroit Regional Chapter and The Engineering Society of Detroit will present the Greening the Heartland Regional Conference May 31–June 2, 2009, at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in partnership with COBO Center.

Ozarks New Energy Conference
April 30 - May 1, 2009, Missouri State University, Springfield
The 2009 Ozarks New Energy Conference: Solutions for Energy Independence will be held April 30 to May 1 at Missouri State University's Plaster Student Union, Springfield. It will be another terrific opportunity to learn about energy developments and technologies and how to apply them in the Ozarks.
