POSITION SUMMARY

3 Phases is seeking an individual to manage and lead a best-in-industry team that will work closely with a large investor owned utility to market renewable energy to the utility’s customers.  This candidate will be responsible for successfully managing the process of designing, marketing, and managing the utility green pricing program, including outreach and marketing to corporate, industrial, residential, and small commercial customers. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Strong organizational and project management skills

Staff leadership, supervision and management responsibilities

Budget management experience

Understanding of the mechanics and motivations of utility operations and its stakeholders.

Ability to manage complex, multi-year program partnerships

Ability to network extensively in Missouri and Illinois energy, regulatory, environmental/sustainability, university and business communities

Ability to execute in a multi-office organization 

Training and managing marketing, sales, and/or customer service teams towards a specific sales or enrollments goal

• Ability and desire to foster a healthy work environment and mentor a staff of  committed individuals

Experience operating in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

Willingness to “do everything”

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A deep knowledge of diverse customer segments, demographics, and culture found in the in urban, rural and suburban areas of St. Louis, eastern Missouri, and southern and central Illinois
• Experience developing, managing, and evaluating direct mail, print advertising, radio advertising, online marketing campaigns
• Experience managing creative/graphical design development processes
• Ability to analyze and report on the efficacy of marketing efforts
• Experience planning, organizing, and managing community outreach, events and event marketing teams
• Experience with direct corporate sales
• Ability to manage PR and earned media development initiatives

Experience developing and managing retail and nonprofit marketing partnership relationships
