Life after GTH08?
Dear Emily,

Greening the Heartland 2008 is really here! Pre-conference workshops and events as well as conference registration begin this Sunday morning, June 22. The Conference Kick-Off and Opening Reception begin Sunday evening. I feel like a broken record when I say that we have an excellent line up of speakers and breakout sessions and a sold out exhibit hall, but it's true!

For the next week or so, you may not receive quick responses from Chapter staff and leadership. Please understand that we are deep in the organization and execution of GTH08 as volunteers, speakers, moderators, exhibitors and more.

I look forward to seeing you at Greening the Heartland 2008!

Emily Andrews
USGBC-STL Chapter Coordinator

GTH08 REGISTRATION NEWS
On-line Registration Ends Wednesday at Midnight
But don't worry! There's still space and you can still register on-site at the Conference. Registration begins at 8 am on Sunday morning at America's Center.

We have added a one day, Exhibit Hall-only pass for $20. If you plan to purchase this at on-site registration, please be prepared to pay by cash or check (made out to USGBC-STL). We have also added a one-day conference registration option.
JOIN US AT THE CITY MUSEUM ON MONDAY!

We're throwing a party at the City Museum on Monday, June 23 from 7:30 - 10:30 pm featuring drinks, dessert and live music by Kim Massie!

Full conference attendees and volunteers can attend for free with their conference badges. If you cannot attend the entire conference, come to the party! It's $30 per person. Please be prepared to pay cash or check (made out to USGBC-STL) at the door.
VOLUNTEER AT GTH08
We Need Your Help!
There are still a number of prime volunteer slots available at the conference - from helping with registration to serving as a breakout session host or an exhibit hall greeter. We can't pull this conference off without lots of volunteers.

If you work a four hour shift, you can participate in conference proceedings that day. Volunteer perks also include a tote bag full of conference goodies and free admission to Monday's party at the City Museum!

Please review the GTH008 Volunteer Schedule to see what's available. Lucky for us, we have a great volunteer Volunteer Coordinator in Chapter member Robin Paone. Please e-mail Robin with questions about to sign up!
