Dan Chiras, with the Evergreen Institute (a recent transplant from Colorado to Gerald, MO) is teaching a free two-day straw bale workshop near Lebanon, MO on Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19.
 
The workshop will provide hands-on experience stacking and notching bales, creating half bales. preparing walls for plaster and mix, applying earthen plaster, working with straw-clay to fill places bales won't fit and making and applying cob.

Workshop attendees will camp on-site.
