Happy 150th Missouri Botanical Garden!
The Chapter congratulates the Garden on 150 years of being green! Founded in 1859, the Missouri Botanical Garden celebrates its Sesquicentennial this year. This makes the Garden the oldest botanical garden in continuous operation
in the US!
To celebrate their 150-year anniversary, the Garden has put together quite a calendar of events for 2009. Be sure to check out the 2009 EarthWays Center class schedule. They have a stellar line up of classes to celebrate the Garden's Sesquicentennial - from a hands-on Cordwood Building workshop to a landfill field trip!
