USGBC-STL Wins a Heroes of the Planet Award from the St. Louis Business Journal!

On Thursday, October 23 USGBC-STL was awarded a Business Journal Heroes of the Planet Award in the Sustainable Alliance Category. The Chapter was recognized by the Business Journal for its efforts to transform the built environment by promoting environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live, work and play. Since the Chapter's success has hinged on strategic alliances and partnerships over the years, we invited several key partners to join us at the awards dinner including Matt Belcher with St. Louis Homebuilders Association, Kim Eilers with Thompson Coburn, Susan Lanigan with Crossroads College Prep, Pam McIntyre with St. Louis Community College-Wildwood, Craig Owens with the City of Clayton and Alderman Fred Wessels with the City of St. Louis.

USGBC-STL was in good company as many Chapter leaders, members and sponsors were Heroes fo the Planet Award Finalists and Winners. Congratulations to all Chapter members, leaders, sponsors and partners for helping the Chapter transform St. Louis' built environment!
