Announcing: New USGBC-STL Outreach Subcommittee - Green Schools (K-12)
At the end of August, the Board selected Julia Feder, with Missouri Botanical Garden's EarthWays Center, as our Green Schools Advocate. She'll be chairing the new committee and is launching the Chapter's Green Schools Advocacy efforts at the first committee meeting on Tuesday, October 30 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm at the Garden's Commerce Bank Education Center, located at 4651 Shaw. Recent Chapter Press Releases

Congratulations to the recipients of the USGBC-STL/AmerenUE LEED Incentive Grant - Grants were announced and the first disbursement of the grants were awarded on will be on March 14, 2007 at 10:30 am at Crossroads College Prep.

Congratulations to the City of St. Louis for passing an ordinance adopting LEED Silver Certification for all newly construction city-owned buildings over 5,000 square feet! The Board of Alderman passed the bill on February 2 and the Mayor signed it on February 20. See the full text of Board Bill 323.
