Chapter and National Membership Types

Chapter Member:  Available to any individual from a USGBC national member company or organization, $45.50 annual chapter membership dues. For more information on Chapter membership, click here.

Chapter Associate Member:  Available to individuals not associated with a USGBC member company or organization, $65 annual chapter membership dues.

Student:  $26 annual chapter membership dues.

USGBC National Member:  Available to any company or organization that wishes to use the USGBC membership logo, gain a listing in the USGBC Member Directory or enjoy numerous discounts for its employees for educational sessions, taking the LEED-AP exam, fees for LEED project registration and certification, registration to Greenbuild, etc. For more information on national membership, click here.

Mississippi Headwaters Chapter Member Benefits

Influence Change:  Your membership in the chapter provides an unparalleled opportunity to influence change and help shape the future of green building in the Mississippi headwaters region.  You will be able to network with like minded professionals from across the building industry, gain access to new LEED developments and advance the USGBC mission at the local and regional level. 

Attend Events, Join a Committee:  As a member you can take advantage of our exclusive opportunities to meet, exchange ideas and build momentum with green building leaders on the local scene by attending our chapter events.  You can help shape the local agenda through chapter and committee leadership by joining one of our committees.

Represent Your Company or Organization:  Chapter membership allows you to represent your company or organization at the local and regional level.  Be recognized as a leader in supporting a better, more sustainable built environment.  Local industry, government and educational leaders, along with the media are increasingly turning to the chapter to find out who is doing what in green building today.

Chapter Member:  Attend chapter events at discounted rates. Serve on, or chair a chapter committee.  Run for a seat on the Mississippi Headwaters chapter board, the USGBC regional council or national board. 

Chapter Associate Member:  Attend chapter events at discounted rates. Serve on, or chair a chapter committee.  Associate members may not vote for or serve on the chapter board. 

Student:  Attend chapter events at discounted rates. Suggested participation in the Emerging Green Builders (EGB) committee within the chapter that plans events and activities specially designed for younger professionals starting a career in sustainable design and green building. Serve on, or chair the EGB committee.  Students may not vote for or serve on the chapter board.
